CINECLUB
We hold these events every second Friday, roughly speaking. They take place in one of our organiser's home, and you can watch a film (with English, French or no subtitles, depending on the film) on her living room; the film is shown on the wall thanks to a projector.
BYOB: The event is completely free, but you need to bring along what you eat/drink, with a view to sharing with everyone (in other words, do bring some wine if you're going to drink wine, but bring some tea etc if that's your drink of choice!) For the nibbles, olives, saucisson, cheese and crackers, crisps.... have all been welcomed in the past! Please try not to bring anything that's going to require cooking as the kitchen is out of bounds (except obviously for water, cold drinks in the fridge and tidying up!)
TIDYING UP: As the event takes place in someone's flat, we have to ask you to tidy up your glass and maybe a couple of bowls in the dishwasher before you leave. It may not seem like much but it makes a huge difference to your organiser not to have to tidy up 25 glasses from the living room!!
Thanks in advance for your cooperation with this!RESTRICTED SMOKING: The organiser's flat is a smoking flat, however for the meetup nights smoking is restricted to just one room, and the living room where the film is shown is completely non-smoking. In any case, please do feel free to open a window on the night if need be: no-one will be offended.
LIMITED AVAILABILITY: this is a limited availability event as it's taking place in someone's flat! (that's why there is no "maybe" option!) so please do make sure you don't cancel at the last minute!
ADDRESS: The address is emailed to the participants on the Thursday prior to the event, so make sure you check your email then!
NB: The club is currently sponsored by Premiere Classe.
