Quick note , to keep you posted with what's on in February with Edimbourg Français:

Admin: I am about to embark on my ritual culling of inactive members - in case you're new: this is not a punition, it's just that we ask people to take part in at least 1 event every 3 months. Also, you may have noticed that we have another web address: http://www.meetup.edi...: this has no incidence on the way the website works at all. (though obviously do let me know if you experience any problem at all!)

Actu: I have updated the FrenchEdinburgh website - there are loads of French-related things to in Edinburgh in February, including various films (the famous A Prophet, in particular) - which I have not yet had time to include but will shortly :D --- anyway, check it out, and anything you'd like to see included, just let me know!
Also, you may not be aware of this but in February, this is Carry A Poem month :D So I was thinking of organising a Cineclub special showing Orphée by Cocteau. Do you have any ideas? --> Email me or put your idea forward as a suggestion!!

Cineclub: For Friday's cineclub, it looks like Au Revoir les Enfants is winning (see polls) - By the way there is a waiting list, so if you can no longer come along, please update your RSVP!

Apéro du Mercredi: Only 5 (!!!) people voted for that... Please make sure you have your say!!!

Film class: I have exactly 3 spaces left in my film class and you can join this week, as we are about to watch and study our first film, 35 Rhums. Check out my summary of our first lesson: here.

Grammar class: is cancelled. I had announced it, but since then decided to take on private tuition, so my sincere apologies to the people who were interested. Will try and arrange for something after Easter.
